Dr Jens-Christian Wagner is director of the Buchenwald and Mittelbau-Dora Memorials Foundation and a professor of history in the media and public at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena. He is a member of the academic advisory council of the project “Encyclopaedia of the Nazi Genocide of the Sinti and Roma in Europe”.
