On the Adriatic island of Pag in the Italian-occupied part of Croatia, the Ustaša establishes the Slana concentration camp, where, according to a witness statement, Croatian and Bosnian Roma are also imprisoned. The camp is dissolved on 21 August 1941. Part of the prisoners is murdered, the other deported to Jastrebarsko via Gospić.
