On the Adriatic island of Pag in the Italian-occupied part of Croatia, the Ustaša establishes the Slana concentration camp, where, according to a witness statement, Croatian and Bosnian Roma are also imprisoned. The camp is dissolved on 21 August 1941. Some of the prisoners are murdered, while others are deported to Jastrebarsko via Gospić.
