Muslim representatives from Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, draw up a resolution to campaign for so-called ‘White Gypsies’, settled Muslim Roma, to be exempt from persecution and deportation, while only itinerant, ‘non-assimilated’ (Muslim) Roma, should be considered ‘Gypsies’. Thanks to this intervention [‘Zenica Resolution’], some of the Muslim Roma in Bosnia and Herzegovina are spared from persecution.
