1943/06/25 – Erschießung Johann Winterstein

Fourteen-year-old Johann Winterstein is shot at the ‘Death Wall’ in the Auschwitz concentration camp (German-annexed Poland). On the same day, eleven other Sinti and Roma are murdered in this way. Like the teenager, they had fled the camp or were suspected of attempting to escape.
