During a reprisal operation against members of the Resistance in the Dunes region (Tarn-et-Garonne) in German-occupied France, a company of the Engineer Battalion of the SS Division ‘Das Reich’ kills fourteen Manouches, including eleven children, in Saint-Sixte (Lot-et-Garonne).
