1992/12/16 – Deutschland (Köln) Verlegung Gedenkstein Auschwitz-Erlass

In memory of the crimes committed against Sinti and Roma during National Socialism, artist Gunter Demnig lays a stone in front of the historic town hall in Cologne, Germany, on which the first lines of the ‘Auschwitz Decree’ are engraved on a brass plate. The memorial stone is a precursor to the STOLPERSTEINE laid since 1995.
