2015/04/15 – Beschluss Europäischer Holocaust-Gedenktag für Sinti und Roma

On the occasion of International Roma Day (8 April), the European Parliament decides to establish a European day of remembrance for the victims of the genocide of the Sinti and Roma. This day of remembrance is to be called European Holocaust Remembrance Day for Sinti and Roma. Since then, many countries have commemorated the victims of the Sinti and Roma on 2 August.
