More than 2,100 Jews and Roma from the Šabac and Topovske Šupe camps are shot as a ‘reprisal’ for 22 German soldiers killed by Serb rebels near Topola at the beginning of the month. The murders of the prisoners from Šabac takes place on 12 and 13 October.
