1941/10/18 – 1941/10/21 – Serbien Kragujevac Verhaftungen Šumarice Erschießungen

After a partisan attack on Wehrmacht units, German forces together with collaborating Serbian formations arrest 2,700 civilians in and around Kragujevac, German-occupied Serbia. The victims are mostly Serbs, among them entire year groups of local secondary school children, but also include Roma (about 250 men) and Jews (about 40 men). Most of them are murdered at the Šumarice killing site.
