In German-occupied Serbia, Wehrmacht soldiers together with Serbian police units and agents of the Serbian special police carry out mass arrests of Belgrade Roma. They are taken to the Belgrade concentration camps Topovske Šupe, German-occupied Serbia, where they are held hostage for reprisals. 2,200 hostages, mostly Jewish and Roma males, are eventually shot in Zasavica, Jabuka and Jajinci near Belgrade.
