Roma and Sinti from Nikolsburg, formerly Mikulov (Sudetenland, German annexed Czechoslovakia) and surrounding areas are deported as part of a mass transport of Roma from the Burgenland (German annexed Austria) to the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration and extermination camp.
