The former Chief of the Administrative Staff in German-occupied Serbia, Harald Turner, stands trial before the military court in Belgrade, Serbia, and is sentenced to death by hanging. The execution takes place on 9 March 1947. In the autumn of 1941, Turner was one of the initiators of the mass murder of Jews and Roma.
