2012/10/24 – Einweihung Denkmal Berlin

The ‘Memorial to the Sinti and Roma of Europe Murdered under National Socialism’ in Berlin, Germany, designed by Israeli architect Dani Karavan, is inaugurated in the immediate vicinity of the Reichstag building. The Bundestag decided to build the memorial in 1992 after many years of campaigning by survivors and their organisations.
