2017/09/30 – Stolpersteine Brno

In the Czech Republic, two Stolpersteine [Stumbling Stones] are placed on the site of the former Romani ‘colony’ in Černovice, Brno to commemorate the couple Jan and Amália Daniel, murdered in Auschwitz-Birkenau. These are thought to be the first stumbling stones for the victims of the Nazi genocide of the Roma in Central and Eastern Europe.
