2017/09/30 – Stolpersteine Brno

In the Czech Republic, two Stolpersteine (Stumbling Stones) are placed on the site of the former Romani ‘colony’ in Černovice, Brno to commemorate the couple Jan and Amália Daniel, murdered in Auschwitz-Birkenau. These are thought to be the first stumbling stones for the victims of the Nazi genocide of the Roma in Central and Eastern Europe.
