1940/11/23 – Österreich Lackenbach Erste Einweisungen

The first Roma are sent to the Lackenbach detention camp in Burgenland, Austria (‚Ostmark‘). By the end of the war, a total of 3,200 to 3,300 Roma and Sinti are being held there. Most of them are deported and do not survive.
