1943/05/22 – Deutsch annektiertes Polen Erschießung 15 Sinti und Roma

22 May 1943

In the Auschwitz concentration camp (German-annexed Poland), 15 Sinti and Roma are shot at the ‘“Wall of Death”‘ after failed escape attempts. Five are German and ten are Czech. Among the victims are the teenagers Albert Bernhardt and Rudolf Stein.
