13 – 18 June 1938

For the first time, large groups of Sinti and Roma, all men, are arrested during the ‘Aktion Arbeitsscheu Reich’ on racist grounds and sent to Buchenwald, Dachau and Sachsenhausen concentration camps in Germany. One in eight adults in the minority group is affected by this abduction.
